GOOD NEWS!! Alive & V-Dubbin Festival at Haughley Park is returning 4th - 6th June 2027
So SAVE THE DATE & mark your calendars as advance tickets will be released on 1st September.
You may be aware that Alive & V-Dubbin has been struggling financially for a few years, much like most other Shows, events & Festivals. Fighting rising costs whilst striving to put on the Alive & V-Dubbin you all know and love. The only reason we have been able to continue for the last few years is because of all your support and any profit that had built up from 2009 to 2019 has been reinvested into your show.
We honestly thought that this year was our last! But the team behind the scenes are in agreement and we are preparing to give everything we have to go back in time and bring back that Old Skool vibe to Alive & V-Dubbin Festival 2027
Obviously we have made a few changes to support this decision:
- No Glitzy camping (Electric hook up)
- Using the one main field (Introducing a Quieter camping zone within this space)
- The show will run from Friday till Sunday
- We are offering Thursday night camping (no bar or music) as an add on option for the that still want to come a day early.
- Alive & Kickin will not be happening in 2027

About us
Early 2009 the founders of the Suffolk Bugrs VW owners club, Andrew and Naomi acted on feedback for a family friendly VW show in East Anglia.
Bringing together some of the most passionate club members a decision was made to start the Alive & V Dubbin Festival.
A Festival that has something for everyone VW’s, Live Music, Camping, Posh camping, Comedy, Demonstrations, vehicle showcases, Competitions, Kids Activities, Good Food, Trade, Autojumble & a safe place to relax with family and friends.
In 2022 we introduced Alive & Kickin - A smaller version of Alive & V-Dubbin Festival, held on one part of the land at Haughley Park. It's a great start to the year and gives you a tiny taste of what Alive & V-Dubbin Festival is like. We are giving this a break for 2027.
Both events are run by Suffolk Bugrs members & friends that volunteer their time without them it wouldn't be possible.

We've been coming for years now and always found it to be a great event!! Always found everything done so well and organised, both music tents an absolute bonus as you can choose what you want to listen too. We would defo come with a price increase and im sure that most of the people would, unfortunately everything is going up and so it's expected really. X hope you keep it still Alive x

Just got back from an awesome weekend. Fantastic venue, great bands, food and stalls. Very relaxing with a chilled atmosphere. I need to book now for next year for the exact same spot. Reallt can't wait for next year to come round. When are tickets on sale? A big shout out and well done to all who organised this event.

Our second year at this event. It is very well organised, the crew always have a smile on their faces, are incredibly friendly and very helpful. Even the rain didn’t spoil things. The site is spacious and there are lots of places to walk the dog. We shall be back again
