About us
Early 2009 the founders of the Suffolk Bugrs VW owners club, Andrew and Naomi acted on feedback for a family friendly VW show in East Anglia.
Bringing together some of the most passionate club members a decision was made to start the Alive & V Dubbin Festival.
A Festival that has something for everyone VW’s, Live Music, Camping, Posh camping, Comedy, Demonstrations, vehicle showcases, Competitions, Kids Activities, Good Food, Trade, Autojumble & a safe place to relax with family and friends.
In 2022 we introduced Alive & Kickin - A smaller version of Alive & V-Dubbin Festival, held on one part of the land at Haughley Park. It's a great start to the year and gives you a tiny taste of what Alive & V-Dubbin Festival is like.
Both events are run by Suffolk Bugrs members & friends that volunteer their time without them it wouldn't be possible.

Firstly- Sorry for the silence. After making a substantial financial loss this year, we have been working out if we can seriously afford to continue bringing you the Alive & V-Dubbin Festival you all know and love with VW’s at the heart of a weekend of great music, comedy, workshops, demos, activities, autojumble, trade, Quality food, camping & a great relaxed vibe.
We have always tried to avoid passing on the yearly increases to the show goer & traders.
We are pleased to let you know that we are going to continue to put
our heart & soul into bringing Alive & V-Dubbin Festival to you.
In order to do this we must increase prices for the first time since 2023.
We know there is a lot of you that really love Alive & V-Dubbin from the amazing feedback you give us.
We really need you to spread the word.

We've been coming for years now and always found it to be a great event!! Always found everything done so well and organised, both music tents an absolute bonus as you can choose what you want to listen too. We would defo come with a price increase and im sure that most of the people would, unfortunately everything is going up and so it's expected really. X hope you keep it still Alive x

Just got back from an awesome weekend. Fantastic venue, great bands, food and stalls. Very relaxing with a chilled atmosphere. I need to book now for next year for the exact same spot. Reallt can't wait for next year to come round. When are tickets on sale? A big shout out and well done to all who organised this event.

Our second year at this event. It is very well organised, the crew always have a smile on their faces, are incredibly friendly and very helpful. Even the rain didn’t spoil things. The site is spacious and there are lots of places to walk the dog. We shall be back again
