About us
Early 2009 the founders of the Suffolk Bugrs VW owners club, Andrew and Naomi acted on feedback for a family friendly VW show in East Anglia.
Bringing together some of the most passionate club members a decision was made to start the Alive & V Dubbin Festival.
A Festival that has something for everyone VW’s, Live Music, Camping, Kids Activities, Good Food & a safe place to relax with family and friends.
In 2022 we introduced Alive & Kickin - A smaller version of Alive & V-Dubbin Festival, held on one part of the land at Haughley Park. It's a great start to the year and gives you a tiny taste of what Alive & V-Dubbin Festival is like.
Both events are run by Suffolk Bugrs members & friends that volunteer their time without them it wouldn't be possible.

Just got back from an awesome weekend. Fantastic venue, great bands, food and stalls. Very relaxing with a chilled atmosphere. I need to book now for next year for the exact same spot. Our second year at this event. It is very well organised, the crew always have a smile on their faces, are incredibly friendly and very helpful. Even the rain didn’t spoil things. The site is spacious and there are lots of places to walk the dog. We shall be back again
